Simply put, this blog is about passion. My deepest passions happen to lie in fashion, interior design and travel, and this blog is my drawing board.

Sunday Blues

Sunday Blues

On rare days when I actually get the chance to have some time to myself and enjoy the frigid cold, yet sunny weather in Los Angeles, I go for a more casual look.

There's nothing better than getting to explore the city in a cool laid back outfit and this day was nothing short of that. For this stroll through the eclectic Fairfax District I wore the Scuba Navy jacket by Veronica Beard with a knotted top by Topshop underneath.

Layering with a jacket can be a difficult feat as you don't want to make yourself appear too bulky, and here is where the genius Veronica Beard jacket designs come into play. The versatile styles can be paired with interchangeable dickeys; whether in a hoodie or sweater like formats, thats adds that cool chick element to the classic blazer. This particular jacket is in a stretch scuba mix material that makes it extra comfortable to wear and so soft to touch.

For a medium sized bag that accessorizes well, I chose the Ella Mchugh over the  shoulder python purse. Lastly, the contrasted darker wash leg jeans by Annie Bing were the perfect compliment as they have a fringed hem detail that gracefully adorned the top of the crushed velvet Dear Frances boots. From the leather heel to the light blue line suede accent, the impeccable details on this pair of booties make it a splurge worthy item that is sure to deter any buyer's remorse.
