One of my favorite things about fashion is how cyclical it is. I go through stages where I want to mimic the cool style of different decades in time. Lately I've been obsessing over the 70's and have found ways to fit it into my modern day wardrobe without having it look cheesy. If you've been following along on my Instagram you will see this trending as I have featured embroidery on denim pieces.
With this said, the 70's inspiration is quite evident in my outfit post for today. I started off by choosing a more neutral color tone (perfect for Fall) for my knitted sweater with ruffled shoulder detail by Storets. Then I paired it with an a-line, front slit embroidered denim skirt also by Storets. For the accessories I wore a cross body with tassel detail bag by Loeffler Randall and over the knee lace up suede boots in tan by Kendall + Kylie. To top it all off, I wore some round spitfire sunglasses that bring this whole look together.
