Mad for Cowboy Boots

Mad for Cowboy Boots

The Cowboy boot is returning to the 2018 scene, so saddle up with me for some tips on how to style the Western classic. This look - I had in mind to elaborate on the rustic vibes with a graceful blue floral dress from Flow The Label. My Jil Sanders corset effectively accentuated the dress, adding to the modern Little House on the Prairie theme I’ve got going on. Finally, on to the shoes…I am sporting a pair of white boots from See by Chloé. The matte white shade I feel really helps these boots remain as a subtle piece within the entirety of the whole outfit. It is a chic undertone. That goes to say, don’t be discouraged from trying on a pair of Cowboy boots just because of the assumption they’ll overpower the look or that you’ll have to go full John Wayne to pull it off.

The secret to Cowboy boots is to seamlessly adapt the shoes to your daily style. You wear the boots; don’t let the boots wear you! If you are looking to start off with an easy outfit to couple them with, just find a floral or gingham dress. Remember, there is a variety of style/tones of Cowboy boots that would adorn any outfit. Brown leather Cowboy boots team heavenly with denim pieces whereas brighter hued boots suit perfectly with a blazer and flared out pants for some 70’s magnificence. Get inspired and as Nancy would say, “Are you ready, boots? Start walkin’.”
