Champagne Time with Anne Klein and Macy's
The pressure is on, it's that time of year again when getting dolled up is simply a must for all the holiday festivities taking place. From trying to survive the manic shopping to all the awkward small talk at social gatherings, having to figure out your ensemble can be another daunting task in itself. This is why I decided to put together an outfit for all those Christmas or dare I say New Year's Eve black-tie events you just can't decide what to wear to.
Going along with the classic/ timeless vibe of this look, I decided that the Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills would be the perfect location to shoot. This boutique hotel has definitely maintained its Old Hollywood roots throughout the decades which is evident through the decor. A few years ago the Avalon underwent a renovation which incorporated the dramatic style of my favorite LA interior designer, Kelly Wearstler, which obviously makes me love this place all the more!
Reflecting the tone of that bubbly champagne you just can't get enough of (cause you can't afford to stay sober at many of these fetes anyway), the Asteria Evening dress by Premonition is truly a showstopper for any formal event. Speaking of grabbing everyone's attention, these Marskinryyppy heels? Umm, yes please and don't even me get started on my favorite evening clutch, the snakeskin bag by Ella Mchugh. In collaboration sourced via Macy's shopping links, I was able to find this incredible rose-gold tone, chain bracelet watch by Anne Klein. This watch is not only the perfect accessory in this case, but is also a great gift to buy for that special lady in your life. What's even better is there's a sale going on: Deal of the Day select $99 Anne Klein boxed watch and jewelry sets- Starts 12/16 and Ends 12/17. Take advantage of this deal, you'll thank me later.
In light of the madness going on this month, remember to take a deep breath and enjoy this time with your loved ones. :)
