Shoulder Action

Shoulder Action

New day, new adventures! Day number 2 of New York Fashion Week has flown by, I guess that’s what happens when you’re having a blast. I was beyond enthusiastic to style this new top from one of my favorite brands, Storets. I’ve mention previously how much I love their pieces and once again their designs don’t disappoint.  As soon as I got this Biggy Ribbon off-the-shoulder crop top I knew exactly how I wanted to style it. These grey high-waited Carven shorts with black button details made for the perfect combo. For shoes I wore black bow sandals with a white tortoise shell effect block heel from Top Shop. To wrap-up this refined look I used my go to 3.1 Phillip Lim metallic silver and black mini satchel.

This day I had the Misha collection show by designer Michelle Aznavorian and I greatly enjoyed the experience. This Australian contemporary brand brought a red-carpet sensibility to the New York runway.  Some of the pieces consisted of very glam delicate materials like intricate lace and even feathers in a pale colour palette. I’m all about some feather action so I was stoked to see that. With a cult-like following of celebrities this brand is taking on the world by offering lower-priced Balmain-esque pieces that are sure to make anyone feel like a million bucks.
