Simply put, this blog is about passion. My deepest passions happen to lie in fashion, interior design and travel, and this blog is my drawing board.

We'll always have Paris

We'll always have Paris

Although a mere two and half weeks ago, Paris fashion week now seems like a distant memory. I am sure the fashion crowd would agree that that this was a peculiar season as news of the outbreak in Italy began to seep through, tensions rose, and coupled with terrible weather all week it definitely dampened morale.

All talk was on Corona and you could feel the absence of a lot of key press and influencers from Asia, Italy and some US teams that were pulled from attending last minute. Hand sanitiser was passed amongst friends across the front row in place of the customary hugs and kisses, but although some events were cancelled last minute, on the whole it was business as usual and the majority of shows went ahead. Few could imagine the vast spread of the disease in a matter of weeks to where we are now, a practical European lockdown.

Initially I have been hesitant to keep sharing fashion content amongst the outpour of such sad news and developments but after much deliberation and asking my audience and other influencers it is clear that people want an escape and a sense of normality and so fashion inspirational images are still relevant. So I have decided to continue posting the material I have shot both in Paris and prior to lockdown and will endeavor to keep producing in home content albeit limited by some constraints.

So without further ado, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite looks from Paris fashion week. This season I was lucky to have access to the fantastic Farfetch dressing suite, which the online platform set up for the week and it was filled with the latest items from some of the hottest designers, think Bottega, Loewe, Burberry, Amina Muadi, Preen, Nanushka and Proenza to just name a few. I got to play dress up and style some amazing looks so I hope these images inspire you next time you find yourself online shopping event tho it might be some time until we get to flaunt our purchases outdoors.
