Simply put, this blog is about passion. My deepest passions happen to lie in fashion, interior design and travel, and this blog is my drawing board.

Mademoiselle Moment

Mademoiselle Moment

What to do when you're stuck at an airport with a two hour delay? Usually you have a handful of options; find some food, take a snooze or hit the shops. I tend to gravitate to the latter and on one recent occasion I did just that. In late August during a flight delay in Barcelona airport I came across a variety of fab finds.

First stop was the Adolfo Dominguez boutique where I picked up this gorgeous two piece monochrome printed set. I love the bell sleeve and the high neck detail that makes it oh so chic. I instantly knew it would be perfect for Paris fashion week, even though I had to wait a whole month to wear it...major sigh! ;)

Alas, wear it I did, and to the Elie Saab show nonetheless. Set in the Tuleries Gardens, it was a totally magical experience. I have been a major fan of his exquisite craftsmanship so it was such a privilege to see the designs in real life. This Spring summer collection had a  disco feel throughout with glimpses of metallics, star embellishments and even stardust sprinkled on the runway.

I also incorporated a bit of shine in this outfit with a pair of Dorateymur metallic shoes and wore my new furry Patata bag by Color Temperature that adds an effortlessly cool touch to any outfit.

Having my hair braided into an updo and throwing on a pearl necklace made me feel like the ultimate Mademoiselle walking the streets of Paris!
