The Little White Dress

The Little White Dress

Goodbye Little Black Dress and hello Little White Dress

When it comes to the Little Black Dress we all have that one go-to item in our wardrobe. Whether it is for a big night out with the girls, a super exciting date or perhaps a work event; the Little Black Dress has been popular through the eras.

But now in 2016 there seems to be somewhat of an uprising. The LBD has now been joined by the LWD in the fashion stakes. The Little White Dress is a fresh, clean and ultra-stylish twist on the style seen on ladies around the world.

So why is the LWD a must have for your wardrobe?

One of the most important things to remember about the Little White Dress is that it is a versatile and simple addition. Much like its darker cousin, the neutral colour of this type of dress means that it can work with a variety of accessories and items that you already own.

You can team a Little White Dress with a blazer jacket for a work ready look or simple drape a scarf over your shoulders for a formal affair, there really is so much you can do.

Tempted into changing sides?

A great example of just how amazing the LWD could be for your wardrobe is this beautiful dress by Rachel Roy (similar here). Available in Macy’s; this laser cut flower motif dress is perfect when teamed with some tan accessories like these laced suede sandals (just like these ones by Raye, similar here and here) and Loeffler Randall tassle bag

So looking for a new outfit for the summer party season? Or perhaps you are lucky enough to live in LA and be able to enjoy the endless sunshine.

If you are then why not take a step out of the darkness and walk tall in a beautiful shade of white? You are sure to turn heads and inspire others to follow in your footsteps.
