Cold Shoulder in JT

Every so often I have flashbacks of the cacti lined desert park that stole my heart last year, Joshua Tree. This is the last outfit left to share of my unforgettable trip and until I'm able to go back to this magical place, looks like I'll just have to reminisce over these pictures and pretend I'm there. It's funny to look through the images of this particular shoot as you can't really tell that I was actually freezing my butt off the entire time. With the weather reaching the low 50's, I guess you could say that I was literally giving the cold shoulder with this grey floor-length, knitted cardigan by Australian brand, Bless'ed are the Meek. There's just something so feminine and sexy about styling an otherwise basic piece into an off the shoulder look. Of course we can't forget the  A-game slit action this flower-patterned skirt by WYLDR brought to the mix, so whist the rest of my team stayed warm and covered, I exposed my myself to the frigid cold air in the name of fashionable artistic expression.

As you've seen in my previous Joshua Tree posts, it was incredibly fun being able to  play dress up throughout this trip, and this outfit was no exception. Just take a sec to admire the jewelry please..... Need I say more? Cleopatra anyone? I'm fairly certain that it's a universal truth that statement accessories make any outfit better. These regal pieces provided by Bacata Artisans were the perfect accents to bring together this desert chic look and added an instant element of elegance without taking away from rustic feel of the surroundings. Established in New York, Bacata is a fashion house that focuses on working with international artisans to craft one-of-a -kind jewelry that truly exudes its uniqueness with each design.

Thank you for following along my Joshua Tree experience!
