Simply put, this blog is about passion. My deepest passions happen to lie in fashion, interior design and travel, and this blog is my drawing board.

Summer Stripes

Summer Stripes

Every weekend varies for me. There’s weekends were I have a plethora of parties to attend and end up even more exhausted than I was during the work week. Then there’s those weekends were I enjoy nothing more than being curled up on the sofa watching my favourite series and indulging in a pizza and a glass of wine.

One thing that remains constant is that summer weather calls for a good brunch place and the Ivy in West Hollywood is a great choice. Everything from the hand painted pottery, the fresh cut roses, down to the server’s pink uniform makes for the most picturesque setting. If you happen to make this little gem your lunch spot of choice, my personal recommendation would be the crab cakes, they’re to die for and as an additional touch they give you the cutest boxed cookies upon departure.  I decided to continue my tranquil afternoon by strolling through the shops on Robertson Blvd. Many of LA’s hottest and hippest boutiques can be found amongst these sidewalks and my best-loved store Kitson that shut down earlier this year has been fially reincarnated into Kitross down the boulevard!

I was recently invited to the Revolve Social club, a beautiful new space on Melrose that provides VIP clients and social influences an unforgettable shopping experience.  I mean, sipping on champagne while shopping? Yes please. They also have a magnificent rooftop where they hold brand events and parties. On my trip there I picked up this striped beauty of a skirt by Tularosa and could not wait to style it. For this look I paired it with a red silk tank top by TIBI, printed Tory Burch sandals, light denim jacket by Current Elliot, and vintage canvas Chanel bag. It was such a pleasure visiting the girls at Revolve and I cannot wait to be back!
