Simply put, this blog is about passion. My deepest passions happen to lie in fashion, interior design and travel, and this blog is my drawing board.

French Feels

French Feels

We often hear, the French do it better; wether food or style the French has that je ne se quoi quality that we love to emulate. I sure am a sucker for incorporating some French influences into my wardrobe. That simplicity, mismatched attitude of femininity with a bit of boyish, always looking put together but without looking like you're trying too hard.

One more reason that the style appeals so much to me is that as is evident by my profile I am a total sucker for all things hats. Of course berets make a recurrent appearance on my feed..and its doesn't get more French than that!

For this look I played around with a classic trench coat and shades of tans and mustards and combined it with this flare sleeve top by Petersyn that's made of a ruched like material which accentuates the silhouette. It was shot outside the cutest French cafe in Clapham, aptly named Madeleine and was the perfect backdrop for this outfit. Of course, I couldn't resist grabbing a baguette to really get into character ;))

What do you think, are you a fan of the French style, if so comment below.
