There is no escaping the houndstooth and check blazers this season as they seem to have taken over everyone's wardrobes and every high street store created a take on the classic. From short work appropriate styles to longer and oversized cuts as well as coat variations and various thicknesses this trend is so versatile.

For this look I paired a longer slightly heavier check blazer with a floral high slit skirt by Allen Schwartz, a white sweater and a pair of Zara biker boots with statement laces. I am really loving the check blazer trend as you can easily transform in from classy to cool in no time. To mix it up you can pair it with jeans and sneakers, a hoodie underneath or as is the case here toughen up a more girly look with touch of grunge in the form of biker boots.
